Audi Partner – Where’s Ya Been?

Reminiscing With 450 Horses underfoot

Now I appreciate that title only really works if you slur it in a John Wayne stylie, but my creative title-juices where simple not flowing at that point.

It wasn’t until I was scanning through some old car pics that I realised just how much I missed driving the beloved Audi RS6. Back in 2003 I was fortunate enough to come across a 1 year old Audi RS6 4.2 twin turbo, 450BHP saloon in Mugello Blue with black leather, alcantara roof lining, sat nav, tv and all the creature comforts you’d ever want in a super-saloon. Right up my street, I’d been on the look out for this exact spec for quite some time and when this baby popped up, I grabbed it firmly with both hands. Can you spot me all blurred out in the background as my mate take a snap of my RS6 – happy times.

My Old Audi RS6

I loved every minute of owning this car, but sadly had to go for something with more space and practicality due to the custom install work in the offline world. I love German engineering and have been a fan of Audi and BMW for around my last 7 or so cars, but the Audi RS6 has to be one of the most fun to drive. The new RS6 looks absolutely stunning and I’m having a chat with Father Christmas to see if he can ease one into my Chrimbo stocking!

Honestly, I’m not compensating for anything!
